Coach Kiefer holds a BS in Education and a Master’s Degree in leadership and Administration and teaches Science at West Forsyth HS. Coach Kiefer was a three-sport athlete while attending Vanden HS in California. Coach Kiefer received a baseball and wrestling scholarship to attend Southern Illinois Edwardsville (SIUE).

Coach Kiefer has coached lacrosse for 16 years at the HS level. Most recently he was the coach at Pope HS before becoming the head coach at West Forsyth. Coach Kiefer’s emphasis is on defense and goalies and has coached 10 US Lacrosse AA (3 being goalies) and 17 GA All State players since beginning his coaching career here in GA. He has made the playoffs every year here at West including a 2019 GHSA Final Four and a 2021 & 2023 GHSA State Runner-Up. Coach Kiefer has been named GACA coach of the year for region 6 and Forsyth County News coach of the year.

Prior to moving to Georgia, he was an Athletic Director and coach at Rockdale schools in Joliet IL, where he coached Football, Wrestling, and Lacrosse.

Coach Kiefer has been a resident of Forsyth County since 2011. He is married with three boys.
