2025 Season Announcements and Information

We would like to welcome returning and new families to the West Forsyth HS girl's lacrosse program! Please see the following high-level overview of what to expect regarding lacrosse at West for the 2024-2025 school year.

Communication

Communication to parents will be sent out to parents via email and GroupMe ("WFHS Girls Lax Parents"). To be added to the lists for communications or for any questions regarding communications, please reach out to Heather Bastow. 

Spring Ball

Registration: Registration information for the Spring 2025 season can be found here.

Practices: Practices are typically at Midway Park Monday through Friday from 5-7 PM, except for game days. Additional practices may be scheduled as needed. The coaches typically want the girls to arrive 15 minutes early to warm up and ready to go by the scheduled start time. A schedule for the upcoming week is typically sent to the team on Sunday evenings. This schedule is normally also shared with parents via GroupMe. 

Games: Games run from February to May. They are typically on weeknights with occasional weekend games.

Travel: West travels and plays some competitive out-of-state teams. The team will travel to Orlando, Florida and Charlotte, NC (see the tentative dates below). The girls travel and stay together as a team, which is great for team building. Parents and siblings are welcome to travel to these events as well!

• Charlotte, NC: April 16-18th

Volunteering

As we gear up for lacrosse events, we need all hands on-deck to make sure everything runs smoothly. Each family is expected to pitch in for at least one event. Please take a moment to sign up. Your support is essential, and we truly appreciate everyone doing their part to support the team. Sign Up
